3D fully interactive real video of Grand Canyon, Arizona

Okay, this is the next big thing (for me) relating to travel and tourism videos. This is a short 45-second fully interactive, real-time 3D video of the Grand Canyon. Meaning that once you press play and the video loads, use your mouse to rotate the camera in any angle you want to see down, up, along and behind this section, Grand Canyon West in Arizona. Fantastic!

9 minute land and aerial tour of the Grand Canyon

Here's a rather good video of the Grand Canyon, starting from the ground and visitor's centre, then heading up, over and through the canyon along the Colorado River by helicopter. I always marvel at the colours the Grand Canyon has to offer, especially as the sun sets...

Grand Canyon - hiking the South Kaibob trail

Here's a POV video of hiking one of the most popular trails in the Grand Canyon, the South Kaibob. It's on cold, wintery days like today that I think back to my time spent in Arizona, and my three trips to the Grand Canyon.

stunning slideshow of Grand Canyon - rainbows and more

Here's a 6-minute video featuring some absolutely fantastic photos of the Grand Canyon. The collection of photos here is among some of the best I've sever seen of this natural wonder. Having visited the Grand Canyon three different times myself, I can safely say the photographer does a wonderful job capturing the depth, size and colour of the rocks and shapes. Some of the shots with rainbows are particularly amazing, as are those taken from the Colorado River. Well worth a watch!

Fantastic guided Grand Canyon helicopter tour

Here's one of the best guided tours of the Grand Canyon - a 45-minute helicopter tour condensed into a 7-minute video. The narrator includes tons of interesting geological and facts about this part of Arizona, including how the majestic Colorado River formed the canyon over millions and millions of years. Really well done!
